so the comic starts with a text blurb about how the evil male demon was too powerful to be defeated by the pantheon, so they had to create a woman to destroy him. also, every element of the comic seems to be about india, including all the creators. for those who don’t know, india is that third world hell hole that adopted feminism as a means to demonize all the men in their country. india is america in 10 years if we don’t roll back feminism like so much uncircumcised foreskin.
so I’m already bracing for the feminazi punch. the first actual panel of art helps keep me from dumping the comic like the sack of trash it is.
so the comic continues. of course, the main villain does not properly respect the main female heroine character, and already I can feel my groin muscles clenching in anticipation of some primo oppression and male privilege.
of course, it should go without saying that the main female character is presented as nothing but a mary sue. that’s our first, second, and third impressions of her.
the male villain, otoh, is already a million dimensions more interesting and enjoyable, in comparison to her.
so anyway, the inevitable happens. the mary sue beats the villain with mary sue powers, and then suddenly we go from ancient earth to modern day japan, and the comic just offers up the most hamfisted and obvious signal that this is not trying to be interesting at all.
as stan lee once said, every issue of every comic is potentially someone’s first time reading a comic book. based on this page of the first issue, are you MORE or LESS inclined to ever read a comic book for the rest of your life? if you answered “more” you officially have bad taste and should give all your money to marvel and dc.
